POSITION VACANT -
Field Officer
At Harvest Moon, we don’t just grow vegetables. We grow opportunity, community,
and connection to the land. As one of the few privately owned fresh produce companies operating across TAS, VIC, NSW and QLD, we’ve been proudly producing quality crops for over four decades. We’re also proud to be an award-winning company with deep roots in Australian agriculture.
Our head office and production hub is based in the beautiful Forth Valley on
Tasmania’s northwest coast. It’s here that you’ll find our people, grounded, passionate, and deeply committed to doing their best work.

We’re looking for a dedicated Field Officer to join our Field and Grower Services team.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with our growers and internal teams to ensure crops are planted, managed, and harvested on time and to the high standards Harvest Moon is known for.
You’ll be in the field supporting everything from ground preparation and crop establishment through to supervision of planting, growing and harvest, coordinating contractors and logistics, and collecting data that helps us track quality, yield, and success.

This role is essential to keeping things moving, and you’ll be supported by a knowledgeable and close-knit team who genuinely care about the work and the people behind it.

We’re looking for someone with knowledge of crop production, soils, and fresh produce quality, along with a basic understanding of agronomy, including pest, disease, and nutrition management. The role calls for strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with growers, teams, and contractors, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. We’re after a self-starter with excellent organisation and time management who can hit the ground running.

If you’re ready to get your boots on the ground and be part of something real, rewarding, and proudly Tasmanian, we’d love to hear from you.
