Agricultural Manager
Harvest Moon – Forth, Tasmania

Harvest Moon is a vertically integrated vegetable business operating across Tasmania and interstate markets. We supply major retailers, export partners and foodservice customers, with a strong focus on productivity, quality and long-term sustainability.
​
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Manager to lead our production operations team based in Forth, North West Tasmania.
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing agricultural performance across the business. You will lead crop planning, agronomy, production systems and sustainability outcomes while ensuring supply aligns with commercial demand.
​
Working closely with the CEO, sales team, agronomists, contract growers and operational teams, you will play a key role in shaping the future capability of our production operations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead agricultural strategy aligned with business objectives

Manage farm managers, agronomists and production teams across multiple sites

Work closely with contract growers to support production outcomes and supply alignment

Oversee crop planning, yield performance and resource optimisation

Drive continuous improvement through technology, data and agricultural systems

If you’re an EXPERIENCED machinery operator who loves big gear, long rows, and seeing real results at the end of a day’s work, we want to hear from you.
Harvest Moon is one of Australia’s leading fresh-produce growers, operating across Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
We’re looking for skilled operators to join our team in Forth, Tasmania, for the 2026 season, for March and April, immediate start! You’ll be working with large-scale modern machinery across carrot and onion harvesting and, depending on your skill level, you’ll have the opportunity to handle some of the best equipment in the business.
What we’re looking for:

Proven experience operating large-scale machinery in potato, carrot, onion, trailer or cultivation work

Workforce Coordinator
Harvest Moon – Forth, Tasmania

Our Forth site, on Tasmania’s Northwest Coast, is home to our head office, farm and main production facility. It’s where a lot of the magic happens.

The Role
As our Workforce Coordinator, you’ll be at the centre of our operations team, making sure we’ve got the right workforce lined up to match the pace of the paddock.
You’ll:

Develop and manage rosters for our casual workforce and PALM workers
-
Plan workforce allocations across the season and on the day
-
Respond to the moving parts of harvest, delivery times and production schedules
-
Deliver inductions and support compliance training
-
Back up our HR Manager when needed
-

During peak season, this role is on call. When the crop is ready, we move. You’ll help make sure we’re ready too.
​
This is a role for someone who can think ahead, adjust quickly and stay calm when the plan changes. Because in fresh produce, it often does.
About You
You understand time-critical environments. Maybe you’ve worked in agriculture, logistics, manufacturing or another fast-paced industry where delays aren’t an option.
​
You bring:

Strong workforce planning or allocation experience

Sharp problem-solving skills and solid attention to detail
-
Confidence with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams

The ability to communicate clearly with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds

Initiative and the ability to work without being micromanaged

Great organisation skills and the ability to prioritise when everything feels urgent

HC Truck Driver
Harvest Moon – Forth, Tasmania

Come and join one of Australia’s largest growers and distributors of fresh vegetables right here in the Forth Valley.
​
Harvest Moon is currently looking for experienced HC Truck Drivers to join our fleet team for an immediate start at our Forth site. As a seasonal business, our harvest periods can be busy, so we’re looking for reliable drivers who are happy to work up to 6 days per week, including some weekend work when required.
​
Our drivers play an important role in keeping the operation moving. You’ll be responsible for collecting freshly harvested vegetables from our fields and delivering them to our packing facilities, as well as transporting supplies and equipment across our operations.
​
About the role

Transport harvested vegetables from field to packing yards
-
Assist with the movement of equipment and supplies across sites

Manage load and delivery schedules efficiently

Complete all required safety, vehicle and maintenance checks

Work closely with our farm and production teams to keep things running smoothly
About you
You’re a dependable driver who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a hardworking team.

A current HC licence with Road Ranger experience
