At Harvest Moon, we believe that our responsibility goes beyond growing fresh produce. Being part of regional and rural Australia means looking out for the communities that support us and giving back wherever we can.

We’re proud to sponsor local sporting clubs, community events, and fundraising initiatives that bring people together. We also support charities and not-for-profit organisations, donating fresh produce to help those in need and contributing to causes that make a difference.

Harvest Moon Carrot Festival
Our annual free-to-attend event that brings Forth families together with tractor rides, carrot digging, face painting, and fresh veggie taste tests.
It’s become a much-loved local tradition celebrating community and farming.

School Gardening Programs
At Harvest Moon, we’re passionate about helping the next generation of growers take root. That’s why we love supporting school gardening programs with seeds and seedlings, giving students the chance to get their hands in the soil, learn how food is grown, and spark an interest in farming and agriculture. By nurturing these young green thumbs, we’re helping cultivate curiosity, connection, and a lifelong appreciation for where fresh produce comes from.

Suppliers Award Evening
We host a biennial dinner in partnership with sponsors such as Incitec Pivot Fertilisers and Tasmania Farm Equipment to recognise top growers and strengthen local agricultural bonds.

Food Banks and Kitchens
Harvest Moon is proud to support local food banks and community kitchens across Australia that help feed those in need. We believe everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food and when we can lend a hand, we do. By donating surplus produce, sharing seasonal vegetables, and partnering with community initiatives, we’re helping to nourish people, reduce food waste, and strengthen the communities we’re part of.

Let it Grow 2026
​We’re proud to kick off the 2026 Let It Grow Challenge in partnership with the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture, inspiring the next generation of Tasmanian growers! As the major sponsor, we were thrilled to be invited, and we are even more excited to see how big our local legends can grow their carrots.

Harvest Moon is proud to support the Forth Football Club, a local team that brings people together through sport, teamwork, and community spirit.
