Snackables Classroom Party Competition

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This competition is conducted by Snackables / Harvest Moon Pty Ltd 

2. Competition Period

The competition opens upon publication of the promotional post and closes at:

12:00pm (AEST) on 1 May 2026.

Entries received after this time will not be counted.

The winner will be announced on 1 May 2026 via Snackables social media channels.

3. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to primary school classrooms located in Tasmania, Australia.

  • Entrants must nominate a specific Tasmanian school and class/grade.

  • The winning classroom must be willing and able to host the event during normal school hours.

  • The prize is subject to school approval and scheduling availability.

If the highest voted classroom’s school declines or is unable to host the event, the prize will be awarded to the next highest voted eligible classroom.

4. How to Enter

To submit a valid vote, participants must:

  1. Comment on the original Snackables competition post with the nominated school and class/grade.

  2. Like the Snackables social media page.

  3. Share the Post to their page or reshare on instagram

Only comments made directly on the original competition post will be counted.

Replies to shared posts will not be counted.

5. Voting Rules

  • One comment equals one vote.

  • Only one vote per person will be counted.

  • Multiple comments made by the same individual will count as one vote only.

  • The classroom with the highest number of valid votes at the competition close will be declared the winner.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to audit, verify and validate all votes prior to announcing the winner.

  • The Promoter may disqualify votes that are deemed fraudulent, duplicated, automated, generated by fake accounts or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of the competition.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. The Prize

The winning classroom will receive:

  • A Snackables carrot punnet for each student in the nominated classroom

  • Snackables hats for each participating student

  • Recipe cards and activity sheets

  • An in-class educational session delivered by Snackables representatives

The prize:

  • Is not transferable

  • Is not exchangeable

  • Is not redeemable for cash

The event will be delivered at a mutually agreed time during school hours.

7. School Coordination

Following winner confirmation, the Promoter will liaise directly with the nominated school to:

  • Confirm participation

  • Confirm student numbers

  • Arrange a suitable event date

  • Coordinate dietary, allergy and consent requirements

If the school does not provide approval or cannot accommodate the event, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next highest voted eligible classroom.

8. Dietary  &  Medical Responsibility

Participation in the event will require completion of appropriate dietary and medical information forms prior to the visit.

The event is delivered on school grounds during normal school hours. The school retains responsibility for student supervision and duty of care at all times.

Snackables representatives are visitors to the school and will comply with all school procedures and policies.

In the event of a medical incident, the school’s standard first aid and emergency procedures will apply.

9. Media  &  Photography

Photographs and/or video footage may be taken during the classroom event.

Images may be used for promotional, marketing and educational purposes, including:

  • Social media

  • Company websites

  • Marketing materials (digital and print)

  • Educational resources

  • Media releases

  • Future promotional campaigns

 

No personal information (such as full name or contact details) will be published without additional consent.

Media consent will be obtained directly from parents or guardians prior to the event.

All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

10. Privacy

Any personal information provided will be used solely for the purposes of administering this competition and coordinating the prize event.

11. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.

Participants release Facebook, Instagram and Meta from any liability associated with this competition.

12. General Conditions

The Promoter reserves the right to:

  • Modify, suspend or cancel the competition if necessary

  • Disqualify any entry that breaches these Terms & Conditions

  • Verify the validity of entries and voters

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
