POTATOES

Harvest Moon markets all of its potatoes by variety so that the customer can have complete confidence in, and fully utilise the culinary potential of the product.

Nicola (a Bintje type) potatoes are the most popular potato variety grown by Harvest Moons the much sought after yellow-fleshed potatoes are a very versatile type.

Through its exclusive arrangement with one of the world's leading potato breeders, ZPC, Harvest Moon now has a number of new and exciting varieties available and the range is steadily being extended. These new varieties include the red skinned Symfonia as well as the striking purple skinned Royal Blue; both are yellow-fleshed and full of flavour.  In addition, they are versatile and equally suitable for boiling, baking, or roasting whilst maintaining their flavour, texture and structure.

Harvest Moon also produces limited quantities of white-fleshed potatoes, mostly Kennebecs and Russet Burbanks and some summer varieties such as Bismarks and Pink-Eyes.
