Harvest Moon sources several varieties of cabbage: Green, Red, Dutch and Savoy.

Green Cabbage as the name suggests are the most common having a round green head.  Dutch cabbage are very similar to the green, however they tend to have a more conical shaped head with densely packed leaves.  The Red cabbages are a small, round-headed type with dark red/purple leaves.  Savoy cabbage has a round, compact head with crinkled and curled leaves.

Description

·         Cabbages are in the same vegetable family as broccoli and cauliflowers, and are an excellent source of Vitamin C.

·         They should be stored in the fridge and can be kept for several weeks uncut.

Sizes

Average weight of Green, Red and Savoy is approx. 3 kg.

Average weight of Dutch cabbage is between 3-5 kg.
